About Series 24 Exam Tutor

 

Michael Weiss built this financial tutoring business with one objective in mind: to help people pass difficult exams that are essential to working in the financial industry. Michael has passed many difficult exams throughout his professional and academic career. Michael passed the Series 7 Exam with a score 94%, the Series 6 Exam with a score of 94% and the Series 63 Exam with a score of 90%. Michael was awarded the CFA charter in 2002 after passing each of the three CFA exams on his first try.  

 

In addition, Michael holds an M.B.A. in Finance & Investments from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College and a B.A. in Finance & Economics from the City University of New York - Baccalaureate Program.

 

Michael has worked in investments for 20 years with the majority of this time spent working in the mutual fund industry. Early in his career, he worked as a research associate for Lipper Analytical Services, a highly regarded mutual fund ratings company.  After Lipper, Michael went to work as an investment analyst for Merrill Lynch's mutual fund wrap program, where he was a key part of the launch of the MFA Selects program.  Later on at Merrill, Michael went on to manage portfolios comprised of individual stocks and bonds. Michael also worked as a portfolio manager at Evergreen Investments.
